Birdie’s Inspirations

Dr. Maria montessori

Montessori is an educational philosophy developed by Dr. Maria Montessori that focuses on hands-on learning, independence, and holistic, self-paced learning. At the elementary level, children learn the Cosmic Curriculum that teaches the interconnectedness of life. Birdie incorporates this method into all experiences, focusing on curiosity and compassion for life.

mister rogers

Mister Rogers , created by Fred Rogers, was Birdie’s favorite TV show as a little one. Driven by compassion and a desire to enhance the lives of viewers, Mister Rogers focused on social emotional education and speaking to children in a direct, respectful, and caring manner. Birdie strives to communicate to our young ones in the same, mindful way.

Our experiential installations and events are carefully curated to connect children to nature while inspiring positive behavior change, and our digital content is expert-validated and designed by educators as learning experiences.

We provide children with active learning experiences during the video lessons to encourage participation. After the videos, the digital journal provides hands-on follow-up activities that motivate learners to connect with life.
