Guests joined Scientist Cecile and Birdie to celebrate Arbor Day! Children transformed via costume into birds and flew into the immersive canopy where they participated in hands-on activities about birds, caterpillars, and migration.

The Monarch Migration Obstacle Course provided children the opportunity to BECOME monarch butterflies and act out the multi-generational migration including: metamorphosis, journeying from Mexico to Canada, evading the obstacles of predators, the climate and more.

Children bee-came bees in the Augmented Bee-ality Obstacle Course as they navigated the life of a solitary bee and viewed a live bee-hive with Scientist Cecile. Trust us, it was unbee-lievable.

The Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival is a wonderful celebration of pollinators and the ecosystems that sustain them, and us. The 7th Annual Festival took place in Brackenridge Park and featured dozens of hands-on, pollinator focused activities.

Birdie cultivated a celebration of the earth through the lens of Biomes: Forest, Grassland & Desert. Children ages 3-10 were invited to experience each of these Biomes first-hand by becoming birds and lizards, and more!
